We are so Proud of our Graduates!

What could be better than that? A letter of Kostas Kyriazis, our graduate, to the President of Alpine Center, Sybil Hofmann:

Dear Sybil,
I hope you are well, I am e-mailing you to keep you updated, as usual, with my career move.
At the end of November I decided to leave Starbucks, having a very nice offer in Cyprus from the biggest F&B company PHC*.
The company is bringing the U.K. caffe Nero concept in Cyprus and they wanted someone to have the training in London be the leader of all openings (4 by the end of july) and be the Operations Manager for Cyprus, in charge for all the growth of the brand.
I was really fascinated, already knew the owner, and went for 2 months in London and now back in Cyprus organizing the whole thing.

I am really excited they really liked me both in Cyprus and everyone in London.
I already keep you update cause soon we will have job openings like store managers, etc.

Looking forward hearing from you soon.
Once more thank you for all the constant help and support.

Best regards,
Kostas

Best wishes for continued success and happiness, Kostas!

We are so proud of our graduates, not only for their outstanding career development, but also for the solidarity among them. It is being proved, graduate by graduate, that the Alpine Center Builds both Character and Careers.

Testimonial *Hotel Management

Michalis (Mike) Mamais, Graduate of Alpine Center in Hotel Management, with the assistance of Ramon Amor,  lecturer and owner of Jobonship, started working with Disney Cruise Line beginning of January.

We discussed with Mike who was trilled to share his new working experience with the Alpine community.

"It is so nice here. My position is Assistant Dining Room Server. It is a unique experience. The colleagues, my superiors, even the customers are so different in a perfect way! The photo that you see below with Goofy is from my first day at work.

Here you may see a picture of me and my colleagues 30 days later, with our Ears. 'Earning our Ears' is a fabulous Disney tradition!

It is amazing! We are busy with a lot of work but we don't quite understand it. We have so  much fun! We travel along the Western Caribbean (Mexico, Cozumel, Costa Maya, Key West and the private island of Disney, Castaway Cay). As of June, we will be also travelling to Spain, Greece and Turkey. The Cruise Ship is fantastic and the places we visit like paradise.

That's a statue of Mickey Mouse from inside the ship I work. Every ship of the Disney Cruise Line has a different statue. Everybody feels like a child here. Even the older people at the 'Pirates Night' buy costumes and dress up like pirates".

Mike continues his fantastic journey and he knows that this is only the beginning. The future looks even brighter ahead! Good luck Mike!
